My name is Genevieve. I’m 30 years old, a self-taught photographer, avid snacker, amazon primer & proud cat mom
Born and raised in small town Ontario, I needed a change so in 2022 I packed my car, cat and drove us out to Van Isle. I've had many adventures in between but have now planted my roots ( for now ) in a cozy fishing town, Port Renfrew BC.
To me photography isn't just about capturing moments. It's about capturing YOUR moments, the ones that make your love story uniquely yours. My approach is equal parts intentional and spontaneous. Blending direction kind of real unfiltered emotion that makes an image..a memory feel as food as it looks.
Think of our session as an adventure. Whether we are hiking up a mountain at sunrise, running barefoot along the shore (and yes I will be running with you) or wrapped up in a golden hour light at your picnic spot. I will guide you just enough to make sure you feel confident, calm and truly enjoying our time together. My goal is to create a space for you to just be while I document the magic that unfolds naturally.
I believe in movement, laughter, wind in your hair kind of moments. I'll encourage you to hold hands, whisper inside jokes and lose yourselves in each other. If you are worried about being awkward in front of the camera, Don't be- I'VE GOT YOU! I will help you feel comfortable in a way that lets your genuine connection shine through. We are not worried about perfect poses, holding your breath and staying still for the camera over here! We are here for the adventurous raw, unfiltered laughter, love and connection! ( and great photos of course)
Booking with me isn't just about getting beautiful images, about the experience. I take the time to get to know you, your story and what makes your love so special. From the first inquiry to your final gallery I want it to feel seamless, fun and totally you.
